Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Fresh Strawberries about 300g, hulled and chopped
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar adjust based on sweetness preference
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch thickens the glaze
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice enhances flavor and preserves color
  • ½ cup Water helps dissolve ingredients smoothly
  • ½ tsp Vanilla Extract optional , adds extra depth of flavor

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Strawberries – Wash, hull, and finely chop the strawberries.
  • Cook the Mixture – In a saucepan, combine strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and water over medium heat. Stir continuously to prevent lumps.
  • Simmer & Thicken – Let the mixture cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries break down and the glaze thickens.
  • Blend (Optional) – For a smoother glaze, use an immersion blender or mash with a fork for a chunky texture.
  • Add Vanilla (Optional) – Stir in vanilla extract for extra depth of flavor.
  • Cool & Use – Remove from heat and let the glaze cool before using. It will thicken further as it cools.
